Bryan was one of the lead scientists on Project MB. After his wife cheated on him and then subsequently left him for her high school sweet heart Bryan was suffering from depression, anxiety, abandonment issues and being lonely. Being vulnerable and wanting some companionship he fell into a trap set by Stephanie Reed who was actually a Russian spy. Thinking she had feelings for him he allowed her into secure parts of the facility he worked at in order to impress her. However Bryan would never know for sure whether Stephanie was the one who stole the vials or not. Not knowing whether he was in some way responsible for the end of the world was both a blessing and a curse. He died five years after the plague and virus killed 90% of the world's population. |
